Job summary

Eco-Shop Marketing Berhad is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager in Malaysia to support receiving, warehousing and distribution, and drive efficiency across operations.

You will train and supervise the warehouse team, coordinate workflow, manpower planning, space utilization and ensure safety standards are met. This role requires a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or a related field with at least 2 years in warehouse/logistics and proficiency in WMS and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management or related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in Warehouse or logistics operations.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management System.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
• Train, supervise and manage warehouse team to resolve daily issues and achieve performance goals.
• Review and prepare workflow, manpower planning, space utilization and equipment layout to ensure productivity and quality.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in inventory control and stock reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Operate and utilize the Warehouse Management System effectively.
• Collaborate with inventory and fleet teams to meet daily delivery targets.
• Support stock accuracy and timely delivery of goods.

Job description

Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational programs

Train, supervise, and manage the warehouse team to resolve daily operational issues and achieve short and long-term performance goals

Assist in reviewing and preparing workflow, manpower planning, space utilization, equipment layout, and action plans to ensure productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards, procedures, and compliance with legal and safety regulations

Assist in managing warehouse personnel, including recruitment support, supervision, work scheduling, training, development, motivation, discipline, and performance evaluation

Assist in inventory control by conducting physical stock counts and reconciling with system data to ensure inventory accuracy

Operate, manage, and utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) effectively

Coordinate closely with the inventory team and fleet department to ensure daily delivery targets are achieved

Assist in managing and supervising stock accuracy and timely delivery of goods

Job Requirement
