Job summary

UNIQLO Malaysia is seeking an In-Store Merchandiser to support visual merchandising initiatives, artwork coordination, supplier management and administrative operations across stores. Qualifications

• Diploma in relevant fields required or preferred.
• 1 year of visual merchandising experience in fashion retail is advantageous.
• Basic graphic design skills and file preparation for printing are expected.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and executing visual merchandising plans per guidelines.
• Update artworks for local market requirements and ensure accuracy for printing.
• Coordinate production of in-store promotional materials and displays.
• Communicate artwork specs to vendors and monitor timelines.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery of materials.
• Support store campaigns with merchandising planning and cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide administrative support to the IMD team and maintain project documentation.

As a member of In-Store Merchandiser for UNIQLO, you will support the execution of visual merchandising initiatives, artwork coordination, supplier management and administrative operations to ensure a consistent and appealing store environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to support the timely rollout of in-store promotional materials and visual displays across stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination and execution of visual merchandising plans in accordance with company guideline and standards.
• Support the adaptation and updating of artworks and visual materials for local market requirements.
• Coordinate the production of in-store promotional materials, display elements & etc.
• Ensure artwork specifications and production requirements are communicated accurately to vendors.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely production and delivery of visual merchandising materials.
• Monitor production timelines and follow up on project progress to ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate printing, installation and distribution of visual merchandising materials to stores.

Administrative Support

• Manage ordering processes, purchase requests, and related documentation.
• Maintain records and filing of merchandising projects, vendor quotations, and operational documents.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the IMD team.
• Collaborate closely with Store Operations, Marketing and Merchandising Planning to support store campaigns and merchandising initiatives.
• Support communication and coordination between stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Requirements

• Diploma in Business Administration, Graphic Design, Marketing or any related fields.
• Candidates with 1 year in visual merchandising in a fashion retail environment.
• Basic graphic design skills and knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Able to produce simple artwork adaptations and prepare files for printing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented and capable in multi-tasking.
• Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
