Job summary

Persys Surface Technology in Malaysia is seeking an Assist Technician to support hands-on machinery maintenance to support daily production and operation. You will assist technicians with routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of equipment and building systems.

You will perform basic troubleshooting under supervision, help set up, move, or install equipment and workstations, and maintain documentation of maintenance activities and inspection results for audits and reports.

Support safety checks, preventive maintenance tasks, and facility upkeep.

Respond to simple service requests and escalate more complex issues to senior technicians.

Record maintenance activities, completed tasks, and inspection results accurately.

Help prepare and process work orders, checklists, and daily reports.

Maintain inventory logs for tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.

Assist in organizing service records, vendor documents, and compliance forms.

Maintain proper documentation of quality records for internal and external audits.

Safety & Compliance

Maintain and update safety-related documentation for DOSH/DOE submissions.

Update the safety master list according to DOSH requirements.

Promote and practice 5S to ensure the workplace remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

General

Assist with any other tasks or duties assigned by supervisors or management.
