Promatrix DC Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant T&C Manager to lead the commissioning lifecycle for data centre projects. You will oversee site selection, vendor onboarding, and testing, while coordinating workshops, design reviews, and handover activities.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to travel to project sites. You will develop commissioning strategies, perform risk assessments, and ensure QA/QC standards are met across ecosystem

Jobbeschreibung

Assistant T&C Manager in the Data Centre Solutions division, reporting to the T&C Manager. This role involves managing the commissioning process from site selection through vendor onboarding, organizing commissioning workshops, conducting technical due diligence design reviews, developing commissioning strategy and plans, attending factory and site acceptance testing, resolving technical issues, and overseeing commissioning closeout and handover processes.

Key responsibilities

Manage the commissioning process from site selection through vendor onboarding, commissioning workshops, technical due diligence design review, commissioning strategy and plan development, factory and site acceptance testing, technical issues resolution, and commissioning closeout and turnover

Plan, coordinate and manage all testing and documentation for the project

Develop commissioning procedures and standards and conduct regular construction site inspections to review safety, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning processes

Ensure quality delivery from project installation and coordinate handover to client and internal service department

Review project design and ensure operation feasibility

Verify and evaluate equipment and system quality and performance according to specification and requirements before delivery to client

Coordinate all testing plans and procedures and develop and review test plans and test scripts

Involve in project early stage to understand construction and testing and commissioning requirements

Plan, perform and lead the whole T&C process with T&C members, ensuring smooth execution and on-time completion

Ensure work compliance to standards in accordance with engineering practices

About you

Understanding of Built Plans (M&E), Technical Literature and Equipment Manuals

Equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ability to review and propose solutions

Effective communication skills with ability to report regularly on construction progress, QA/QC, commissioning progress, issues, and KPI metrics

Ability to work closely with Engineering Team and understand design

Willingness to work on-site or off-site depending on project need and ability to travel frequently to project sites
