Job summary

Technip Energies in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Commissioning Engineer for a fixed-term assignment.

You will implement and execute commissioning scopes, support for pre-commissioning, liaise with client operations, conduct tests, prepare procedures, and ensure QHSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 7 to 9 years of experience in engineering.
• University chemical engineering diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the overall system testing of the facility, systems, and sub-system functional performance in readiness for commissioning.
• Liaises with client operations personnel to execute the pre-commissioning / commissioning tasks.
• Conducts the static and dynamics tests, generates the associated report sheets, and ensures they are available for hand over teams.
• Prepares and generates the pre-commissioning procedures on site.
• Applies project QHSE rules and procedures during the execution of tasks.
• May lead the work of some Pre-commissioning and Commissioning operators and vendors during the commissioning task.
• To assist the Commissioning Department Manager in ensuring good quality outputs as per the relevant discipline commissioning activities
• To provide inputs for commissioning schedules and commissioning execution plan to the Commissioning Department Manager for Bid Proposals.

About The Job

We are currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Successful candidate would be offered fixed term employment.

Implements and executes the commissioning scope for the tasks he/she is assigned to. To provide technical support for commissioning related.

Main Accountabilities

• Key tasks:
• Oversees the overall system testing of the facility, systems, and sub-system functional performance in readiness for commissioning.
• Liaises with client operations personnel to execute the pre-commissioning / commissioning tasks.
• Conducts the static and dynamics tests, generates the associated report sheets, and ensures they are available for hand over teams.
• Prepares and generates the pre-commissioning procedures on site.
• Applies project QHSE rules and procedures during the execution of his/her tasks.
• Controls the construction subcontractor’s Pre-commissioning and Commissioning team dedicated to him/her.
• May lead the work of some Pre-commissioning and Commissioning operators and vendors during the commissioning task.
• To assist the Commissioning Department Manager in ensuring good quality outputs as per the relevant discipline commissioning activities
• To provide inputs for commissioning schedules and commissioning execution plan to the Commissioning Department Manager for Bid Proposals.
