Job summary

MR.DIY Malaysia is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee daily store operations and ensure adherence to SOPs, health and safety standards, and company policies. The role involves driving sales, stock control, cashier supervision, and staff development in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Minimum Diploma or Certificate in any field.
• SPM with 2-3 years supervisory experience in retail or related industry is welcome.
• Experience in retail operations, cashier operations, stock management, and team supervision is an advantage.
• Basic leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to supervise, coach, and motivate team members.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and retail systems (POS, ERP, or similar systems).
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Responsible, disciplined and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, and health & safety requirements.
• Assist in achieving store sales, productivity, stock control, and cost management targets.
• Support store opening/closing, task delegation, staff scheduling, and daily activities.
• Assist in supervising cashier operations, including cash handling, refunds, exchanges, and daily cash reconciliation.
• Ensure stock receiving, invoice verification, stock transfers, inventory accuracy, replenishment, and loss prevention.
• Support promotional activities, merchandise displays, pricing, and store presentation.
• Maintain accurate sales, inventory, cash, and operational records, and ensure store systems and equipment are properly maintained.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development, guiding team members and reporting disciplinary matters when required.
• Deliver excellent customer service by handling enquiries, complaints, refunds, and exchanges professionally.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment, lead by example, support teamwork, and perform other duties as assigned.

• Support daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Assist in achieving store sales, productivity, stock control, and cost management targets through effective daily operations.
• Support store opening and closing, task delegation, staff scheduling, and daily operational activities to ensure smooth store operations.
• Assist in supervising cashier operations, including cash handling, refunds, exchanges, cashless payment settlements, and daily cash reconciliation.
• Ensure stock receiving, invoice verification, stock transfers, inventory accuracy, stock replenishment, stock loss prevention, and Daily Sales vs. Receiving records are properly managed.
• Support promotional activities, merchandise displays, pricing implementation, and store presentation in accordance with company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate sales, inventory, cash, and operational records, and ensure store systems and equipment are properly maintained.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development, and provide guidance to team members while reporting disciplinary matters to the Assistant Branch Manager or Supervisor when required.
• Deliver excellent customer service by handling customer enquiries, complaints, refunds, and exchanges professionally.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised store environment, lead by example, support teamwork, and perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor, Branch Manager, or Management.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Certificate in any field.
• Candidates with SPM are welcome to apply if they have 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role in retail or a related industry.
