Job summary

Beyonics Precision (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Moulding Assistant Supervisor to oversee daily moulding operations on the production line in Johor. You will report to the Moulding/Production Supervisor or Production Manager and ensure smooth mould setup and operation.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma, Degree, or Certificate in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in plastic injection moulding or a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with injection moulding processes and operator guidance.
• Ability to identify and resolve machine, material, or tooling issues promptly.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools relevant to production tracking.

Responsibilities

• Mould & Machine Setup: supervise installation, setup, and trials of production moulds.
• Process Troubleshooting: identify and resolve downtime and part discrepancies.
• Review daily production schedules and assign tasks to operators and technicians.
• Coordinate machine setups, mold changes, and routine maintenance.
• Assist operators and molders, guide floor staff on SOPs.

Job description

A Moulding Assistant Supervisor supports the production line, oversees daily moulding operations, and reports directly to the Moulding/Production Supervisor or Production Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Mould & Machine Setup: Perform and supervise the installation, setup, and trial runs of production moulds.
• Process Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine, material, or tooling issues to minimize downtime and reduce part discrepancies.
• Technical Skills: Practical knowledge of injection moulding machine parameters, troubleshooting, and basic computer proficiency.
• Review daily production schedules and assign tasks to machine operators and technicians.
• Coordinate machine setups, mold changes, and routine maintenance.
• Analyzing workplace challenges, identifying root causes, and evaluating alternatives quickly.
• Assist operators and molders, coordinate shift assignments, and guide floor staff on standard operating procedures

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma, Degree, Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a plastic injection moulding, precision engineering, or manufacturing environment.
