Job summary

J&T Express Penang is seeking a responsible, enthusiastic Assistant Supervisor to join the operations team. You will assist the Supervisor in daily hub operations and delivery processes, coordinating riders, dispatchers, drivers and other staff to ensure timely deliveries.

You will monitor KPIs like OTD and delivery failures, plan routes, and provide clear briefings. A background in logistics and a willingness to work weekends/public holidays are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in courier, logistics or related operations
• Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driving license
• Willing to work according to operational requirements, including weekends/public holidays
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of operating systems

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in managing daily hub operations and delivery processes
• Coordinate and monitor riders, dispatchers, drivers and operations team
• Ensure packages are processed correctly and delivered according to schedule
• Monitor operational KPIs and delivery performance such as OTD, success rate and delivery failures
• Assist in planning routes and allocating workforce according to operational needs
• Provide briefings and communicate daily operational instructions to the team
• Assist in handling customer complaints and operational issues
• Ensure compliance with SOP, safety and operational procedures
• Prepare daily operational reports
