Job summary

Shin Heung Sec (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Officer to support daily SHE activities, conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments, and assist in incident investigations and corrective actions.

The role involves supporting safety training, environmental compliance, waste management, and maintenance of SHE documentation for audits. You will help implement ISO 14001/45001 and monitor contractor safety within the plant in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health, Safety and Environment (SHE) practices.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001/45001 standards.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily SHE activities, workplace inspections and HIRARC/risk assessments.
• Assist with incident investigation, corrective actions and safety improvement activities.
• Support safety training, toolbox meetings and awareness programs.
• Assist with environmental compliance and scheduled waste management.
• Maintain SHE records, reports and documentation for audits and inspections.
• Support ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 activities and internal audits.
• Monitor contractor safety and work activities.
• Assist with facility inspections, maintenance coordination and follow-up with contractors.
• Support emergency preparedness, drills and workplace improvement projects.
