Job summary

FFM Berhad in Malaysia seeks a versatile staff member to handle routine cleaning of R&D labs, equipment, and guest rooms, plus sample preparation and data collection for production trials.

The role includes document filing, ingredient management, and support for visitor visits under the Head of R&D. This position is based in Malaysia and involves periodical renewal of lab ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Clean R&D labs, guest rooms, and equipment; pack test materials
• Maintain and clean equipment including fryers, freezers, refrigerators, and ovens
• Assist in production trials with sample preparation and data collection
• Collect data for Technical List
• Manage document filing; keep files organized and updated
• Assist with samples received from suppliers and arrange production samples
• Oversee lab ingredients; renew ingredients and raw materials quarterly
• Provide R&D supplies such as stationery and raw materials
• Manage visitor materials and cleaning room visits as directed by Head of R&D
• Carry out case studies or data collection as directed by Head of R&D
• Oversee shelf-life studies and preparation
• Prepare for product testing, e.g., sensory tests
• Perform tasks as directed by Head of R&D; other duties as required

Job description

Performs routine tasks such as cleaning R&D labs and guest rooms, cleaning equipment, cleaning equipment used during the R&D process and packing test materials.

Maintenance and cleaning of equipment such as fryers, freezers, refrigerators, and ovens.

To assist in production trials, for sample preparation and data collection.

Data collection for Technical List.

Responsible for document fillings and ensuring all files are in order and updated.

To assist in sample preparation, sample received from supplier, sample requests & arrangement from production.

In charge of the ingredients used in lab and to renew the ingredients & raw material quarterly.

In charge of the ingredients used in lab and to renew the ingredients & raw material quarterly.

Provides R&D requirements such as stationery, raw materials etc.

Manage visitor-related matters such as preparation of materials, cleaning room visit as directed by Head of R&D Department.

Carry out a case study or collect data from such a production as directed by the Head of R & D Department.

Responsible for shelf-life studies activities and preparation

In charge of product testing preparation, e.g.: sensory test.

Carry out any tasks as directed by the Head of R&D Department.

Other duties as may be assigned as part of organizational requirements.
