Job summary

Arup Kuala Lumpur is seeking a senior project management professional to lead complex projects and advisory engagements from planning through delivery. The role focuses on strong client relationships, program governance, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure outcomes align with client and Arup’s standards.

The successful candidate will bring solid PM experience in a consultancy environment and hold a recognised PM qualification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of project management experience in a consultant environment.
• PM qualification such as Diploma, Masters, PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex projects and advisory engagements from planning through to completion.
• Manage project scope, programme, resources, quality, risks and commercial performance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future work.
• Lead or contribute to bids, proposals and presentations.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, this role will provide professional project management services to support Arup’s Programme and Project Services work. The successful candidate will bring strong senior project management experience, with the ability to lead complex projects, manage client relationships and contribute to the growth of Arup’s project management capability.

Is this role right for you?

• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture, project management, quantity surveying or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of relevant project management experience in consultant environment
• Recognised project management qualification or certification such as PM Diploma, Masters, PMQ, PMP, CPPM, MSP or PRINCE2, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Strong practical and theoretical project management and design management knowledge, with the ability to lead projects and programmes across scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communications, risk, issues and procurement.
• Ability to independently analyse project information, report on outcomes and develop clear actions to address risks, issues or performance gaps.
• Ability to use digital tools and techniques that support the analysis, reporting and management of complex projects or programmes.
