Job summary

MTD Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner/Coordinator to manage job orders from sales to production, update status, and ensure production runs according to plan. The role coordinates with Sales, Purchasing, Sub-assembly and Production to align materials and scheduling.

You will monitor capacity, material movement, and readiness for shipment, while maintaining 5S practices and contributing to efficiency and reporting to management.

Responsibilities

• Issue Job Order to Production after receiving Sales Order.
• Update & track all Job Order status.
• Plan, update & monitor production schedule, to ensure actual production running according to plan.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Sub-con & Production for material & planning.
• Monitor capacity loading & escape issues to superior.
• Monitor part movement & material consumption.
• Ensure goods readiness before shipment.
• Build teamwork with other department team members.
• Give instruction to Production on tooling set-up.
• Monitor production efficiency/productivity & report to management.
• Adhere to company protocol as laid out in the Company Policy and Procedures.
• To be responsible at assigned each risk area for the management of particular risk.
• Maintain and responsible for 5’s practices in workplace.
• Perform other duties assigned by Superior/Management from time to time.
