Job summary

ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER/PRODUCTION MANAGER

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Ability to confidently and proactively supervise production teams
• Lead production teams toward solving production-related problems
• Conduct daily production meetings to track machine efficiency and outputs
• Manage people and resolving conflicts
• Work with planning department to plan and schedule production runs
• Knowledge of procuring materials, equipment, and labour needed throughout the production process including allocation of resources
• Ensure that production is completed before deadlines to fulfill deliveries
• Monitor and improve the efficiency of production equipment and output
• Oversee quality control throughout the production process
• Manage production KPIs to achieve set targets
• Monitor and control the level of stock inventories

Skills and Requirements

• Reports to the Factory Manager
• Possess qualification in Diploma or Degree
• Minimum 10 years working experience in Production or Operations, with at least 3 years in managerial position
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with other departments
• Experience with managing workers and handling conflicts
