Golden Donuts in Klang is seeking a procurement professional to source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, and service. The role involves maintaining supplier records, coordinating procurement with internal teams, monitoring market trends, and supporting new product sourcing for R&D and expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, SCM, or related field.
• 3–5 years purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience in the F&B industry is a plus.
• Familiar with sourcing from local and international suppliers.
• Logistics coordination experience.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Manage supplier relationships and resolve quality or delivery issues.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain supplier records, pricing databases, and procurement documentation.
• Register and manage approved suppliers in the vendor management system.
• Coordinate procurement activities with internal departments to ensure timely supply.
• Support sourcing for new products and equipment for R&D and business expansion.
• Review, improve, and implement procurement policies and procedures.
• Manage contracts, tender processes, and supplier negotiations.
• Monitor inventory, product shelf-life, and FIFO practices to minimize wastage.
• Prepare procurement and inventory reports for management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience in the F&B industry will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with sourcing from local and international suppliers and logistics coordination.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
