Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an E&Q BOM approval specialist to review and approve BOMs by lot for both existing devices and new packages. You will coordinate with PMO and Process Engineering to ensure BOM accuracy and alignment with build requirements.

In this role, you will verify process flows, assign Plan IDs, and hold reviews when clarifications are needed, ultimately approving BOMs with no issues. A Diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years in manufacturing are expected, along with strong Excel

Qualifications

• Diploma, STPM, or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience; manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with basic reporting tools; able to multitask.

Key Responsibilities

E&Q BOM approval by lot (existing device)

• Review build requirements and objectives for E&Q builds.
• Check BOM history and ensure BOM usage aligns with build requirements.
• Verify process flow and Plan ID assignment according to the build.
• Coordinate with PMO and Process Engineering for any special build requirements.
• Hold review if further clarification is needed (customer or internal).
• Approve BOM upon confirmation with no issues.

E&Q BOM approval by lot (new device / new package)

• Review TGA/AQP to confirm BOM and process flow.
• Follow the same approval process as for existing devices.

Requirements

• Diploma, STPM, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience; experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with basic reporting tools
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
