Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to develop detailed production plans for injection, assembly, and printing processes based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints. You will coordinate with subcontractors to ensure their production schedules align with our requirements.

Assist in monthly work order closing, manage incoming parts, and oversee shipments with logistics to meet delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of working experience in production planning or a related field.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to proactively listen and understand issues for effective problem solving.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed production plans for injection, assembly, and printing based on demand forecasts, inventory, and capacity.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to align their production schedules with requirements.
• Adjust production plans for changes in demand or other variables.
• Issue work orders for each production run with job details, materials, and timelines.
• Monitor work order progress to ensure on-schedule production.
• Assist in monthly work order closing by reviewing completed orders for accuracy.
• Coordinate inbound parts from subcontractors and manage consignment outgoing processes.
• Oversee shipment of finished goods with logistics for timely delivery.
• Communicate delivery schedules and forecasted demands with customers.
• Contribute to annual inventory counts and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required and prepare audit-ready documentation.

Issue work orders for each production run, specifying job details, materials, and timelines.

Monitor work order progress, ensuring that production is on track and within the planned schedule.

Assist in the monthly work order closing process, reviewing completed work orders for accuracy and completeness.

Coordinate the incoming parts from subcontractors, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Manage consignment part outgoing processes to subcontractors as needed.

Oversee the shipment of finished goods, coordinating with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.

Communicate with customers to confirm delivery schedules and forecasted demands.

Assist in the yearly inventory count process, ensuring accuracy and organization.

Maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding both shortages and excess inventory.

Undertake assignments and ad-hoc tasks related duties as and when required.

Complete & verify paperwork for accuracy.

Generate and submit report according to schedule.

Prepare documentation for audits.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, STPM/"A" Level, Certificate, Diploma.

At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Possess good communication skills, analytical skill and details oriented.

Proactive, critical thinking, complex problem solving, social perceptiveness ability is a plus point.

Proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations.

Able to work independently and perform overtime whenever needed.
