Job summary

GrabMaps marketing team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager to drive product marketing initiatives, GTM planning, and demand generation while collaborating with product, design, operations, and sales to expand Grab's market presence.

The role requires 5–7 years in B2B tech/SaaS marketing, with strong communication and project management skills, and familiarity with mapping tech or location-based services.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in B2B, tech, SaaS, product marketing, preferably regional or multi-market.
• Experience planning and executing integrated marketing programmes across content, demand gen, digital channels, CRM and events.
• Experience developing product marketing basics: segmentation, positioning, messaging, value props, launches, enablement.
• Translate complex tech concepts (e.g., mapping, APIs, location intelligence) into customer value.
• Excellent organizational and PM skills with multiple initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication, detail-oriented.
• Familiarity with GIS or mapping tech (preferred).
• Experience with AI tools and emerging tech (preferred).
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Support GrabMaps marketing workstream, including strategy, GTM planning, and demand generation.
• Develop GrabMaps positioning, messaging, value propositions, and use cases for business and technical audiences.
• Contribute to GTM strategy planning and execution for product launches with cross-functional coordination.
• Manage demand-generation channels: website, CRM nurture, SEO, GEO, campaigns, lead generation, performance optimization.
• Assist content development: case studies, customer stories, thought leadership articles.
• Support market research and competitive analysis for positioning and pricing strategy.
• Gather customer insights to inform product marketing and identify opportunities.
• Support social media and digital marketing to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Assist with events, product demos, and promotional activities for launches and expansion.
