Assistant Marketing Manager, GrabMaps & Special Projects

We're looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager to support both the GrabMaps marketing workstream and strategic special projects in our Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office. In this role, you will assist in executing product marketing initiatives, go-to-market planning, and demand generation activities for GrabMaps, while also contributing to emerging technology and new business initiatives across Grab. You will drive marketing excellence by supporting campaign execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping to establish strong market presence while supporting innovation and business expansion efforts.

GrabMaps Marketing Responsibilities:

• Support the GrabMaps marketing workstream, including assisting with product marketing strategy, go-to-market planning, and demand generation initiatives
• Support the development of GrabMaps positioning, messaging, customer value propositions, and use cases for business and technical audiences to effectively communicate differentiation in the market
• Contribute to go-to-market (GTM) strategy planning and execution for product launches and market initiatives, assisting with timelines and cross-functional coordination
• Manage demand-generation channels, including the website, CRM nurture programs, SEO and GEO initiatives, while supporting campaign development, lead generation initiatives, and performance optimization
• Assist in the content development pipeline (e.g., case studies, customer stories, thought leadership articles) to support brand, demand generation, and sales conversations
• Support market research and competitive analysis activities to inform product positioning, pricing strategies, and marketing approaches
• Gather and synthesize customer insights and feedback to support product marketing strategies and identify market opportunities
• Support social media management and digital marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, product visibility, and customer engagement
• Assist with event planning, product demonstrations, and promotional activities to support product launches and market expansion

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Special Projects:

• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and sales teams to ensure cohesive project execution and effective product-to-market delivery
• Support selected strategic initiatives across Grab, including emerging technology and new business ventures, from problem definition and market research through to recommendations, pilot programs, and execution
• Contribute to special projects that explore new market opportunities, business models, and technology applications, supporting the full project lifecycle
• Support stakeholder communication and work effectively with leadership and cross-functional partners at all levels across multiple workstreams
