Job summary

Genting Malaysia is seeking a seasoned broadcasting professional to develop and maintain content for V On Air, RWG's online radio, and supervise daily operations of the radio.

Requirements include 4–6 years in broadcasting, a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent, and experience with Zetta or other radio automation systems; strong English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Min 4–6 years of experience in broadcasting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent.
• Experience with Zetta or other radio automation systems is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English; Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin are added advantages.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Content & Creative in executing day-to-day operations of the online radio.
• Coordinate with internal Audio Personnel to maintain content and ensure quality standards.
• Assist in coordinating between marketing teams and business units to deliver content.
• Maintain a high level of content quality and avoid airing mistakes.
• Manage radio schedule and update content regularly.
• Be the program head for radio content and familiar with Zetta.

BASIC FUNCTION: To develop, establish and maintain content for V On Air, RWG's first online radio and to supervise daily operations of the radio.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Content & Creative in executing day-to-day operations of the online radio
• Coordinate and communicate with the internal Audio Personnel to maintain and create content for the radio ensuring it meets quality standards and meets the marketing message
• Assist in coordinating between marketing teams and business units to deliver content on the radio
• Maintaining a high level of quality for the content on the radio and avoid any mistakes from airing where possible
• To maintain the schedule of the radio and provide updated content regularly for the radio
• To be the program head for the content on the radio and be well-versed in Zetta
• To be the main point of contact for all activations that require radio support at Resorts World Genting or as required by the business
• Monitor and review regularly the content on the radio including music, shows, promos, and talksets

Education and Experience

• Min 4 to 6 years of experience in the field of broadcasting
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent.
• Experience in hospitality industry and/or international marketing is an added advantage.
• Experience with Zetta or other radio automation systems is a plus
• Good proficiency in written and spoken English (Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is an added advantage)
