Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead end-to-end recruitment, engage stakeholders, and build strong candidate pipelines in a fast-paced financial services environment.
You will partner with department heads, manage vendor relationships, oversee onboarding, and drive TA governance and reporting to ensure compliant, efficient hiring aligned with group goals.
1. Talent Acquisition & Stakeholder Management
End-to-End Recruitment: Lead and execute full-lifecycle recruitment and selection processes to meet organizational manpower requirements efficiently and within budget.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with department heads and line managers to understand hiring needs, define competency requirements, and provide guidance on talent market trends and hiring strategies.
Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Strategy: Implement effective sourcing strategies to build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
Offer & Onboarding: Manage candidate offer negotiations, package preparation, background/reference checks, and oversee the new hires onboarding experience.
2. Operations, Vendor & Budget Oversight
Job Portal & Vendor Management: Liaise with recruitment agencies and external vendors; manage the renewal and optimization of job posting subscriptions.
Financial & Operational Processing: Oversee daily operations, including the processing of recruitment expenses and vendor invoices.
Process Improvement: Continuously review and enforce TA policies and hiring workflows to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
3. HR Analytics & Strategic Initiatives
Reporting & Compliance: Maintain and analyze hiring trackers to prepare reports for Group HR, senior management, and regulatory bodies.
Projects: Drive TA initiatives to strengthen the organization’s talent attraction footprint and align workforce strategies with broader organizational goals.
Job Requirements
Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, preferably with experience in supervisory capacity (experience in financial services or fast-paced corporate environments is highly advantageous).
Solid understanding of employment laws, labor standards, and common HR practices
Good command of MS Office.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to interact across all levels of seniority.
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with high attention to detail.
Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Good written and spoken English skills.
