Job summary

China Mobile International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. in Malaysia seeks a Sales Operations professional to manage quotations, contracts, order activation and billing for the Malaysia sales team. You will coordinate with regional and HQ teams to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely processing.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, Product, Service Delivery and Customer Service, and requires proficiency in CRM and billing systems to maintain data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, telecommunications, finance, IT or related field.
• At least five years in sales operations, sales support or order management.
• Experience with telecommunications/ICT data/services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate quotations, pricing requests, proposals and sales documents.
• Coordinate internal approvals for pricing, contracts and terms.
• Review orders and ensure all required documents are complete before submission.
• Track orders from booking to service activation and billing.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal systems.
• Prepare weekly pipeline and revenue reports.

Job description

Manage sales administration from quotation and contract approval through order activation and billing. The role supports the Malaysia sales team, coordinates with regional and headquarters teams, and ensures all transactions are accurate, compliant and completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate quotations, pricing requests, proposals and sales documents.
• Coordinate internal approvals for pricing, contracts, credit terms and commercial exceptions.
• Review customer orders and ensure all required documents are complete before submission.
• Track orders from booking to service activation, customer acceptance and billing.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product, Legal, Finance, Service Delivery and Customer Service teams.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, contract and order records in CRM and internal systems.
• Monitor contract expiry dates, service renewals and outstanding customer actions.
• Resolve order, provisioning and billing discrepancies with the relevant teams.
• Prepare weekly pipeline, order status, revenue and sales-performance reports.
• Monitor pending orders, unbilled services and operational risks, and escalat delays promptly.
• Maintain sales operations procedures, templates and document records.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and approval requirements.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce errors and improve turnaround time.
• Guide junior sales support team members where required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Telecommunications, Finance, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in sales operations, sales support, order management, commercial operations or a related function.
• Experience in telecommunications, ICT, cloud, data centres or international connectivity services is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CRM, enterprise resource planning, order-management or billing systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other business-productivity tools.
• Experience working with cross-functional or regional teams is preferred.
