Job summary

Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara seeks a seasoned risk management professional to localize group risk policies and implement operational risk management across all units. You will develop and report on the enterprise risk management framework, ensuring top risks are identified, quantified and mitigated.

Collaborating with Internal Audit, Compliance and Integrity, you will drive risk assessment processes, governance reporting, and risk culture initiatives across the organization in support of

• Strong technical risk management knowledge and proven ability in developing and implementing practical risk management processes and frameworks.
• Knowledge of prevailing corporate governance requirements.
• Experience in ERM & knowledge of Risk Management Standards such as ISO 31000.
• Effective people management and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Localize and implement Group risk policies and operating models.

Job description

To ensure Group risk policies and operating models are appropriately localized and implemented.

To assist in developing, reviewing and reporting on organization enterprise risk management framework.

Prepare Risk & Governance Committee reporting.

Identify risks and their indicators in risk reporting and monitoring, addressing mitigation plans.

Work with Head of Business Units to ensure that all Operational Risks (Tier 1 & 2) risks, top risk and top emerging risk identification and mitigation, implementation of appropriate risk management systems and loss event database are properly identified, quantified, managed and monitored.

Partner and collaborate with other Line of Defence i.e. Internal Audit, Compliance and Integrity Unit to implement integrated operation risk management framework, including regular update and track of Risk and Compliance Assessment process, Internal Audit plan and reports, Compliance / Integrity Unit/’s top risk and top emerging risk identification and mitigation, implementation of appropriate risk management systems and loss event database.

Developing outreach and engagement activities in support of embedding and strengthening risk management culture and awareness.

Develop Operational risk reporting/dashboard, timely communicate/escalate risk events, issues, and compliance with risk policies and limits to key stakeholders in the Company and in the region; manage the Company’s quarterly risk reporting.

Execute the annual Risk Management processes with key business units, stakeholders, update the risk assessment and ensure adequate measures are in place to mitigate the identified risks.

Improve risk management / mitigating strategies and techniques, and carrying out follow up action plans and its effectiveness in mitigating / controlling risks. · Implement and execute risk management process and business continuity planning (BCP) adopted by the business units from all stakeholders' point of view.

Sustainability:

Execute the organisation’s sustainability program to meet the organization’s commitment to sustainability.

Review company policies and processes to identify areas in and processes to which improvements can be made in accordance with the organization’s sustainability program.

Develop performance indicators to align organization ESG metrics and monitor the performance of the organization against those metrics.

Ensure timely reporting, presentations, and proposals; presents proposals and recommendations to the Group CEO, board of directors, and other key stakeholders.

Develops and maintains appropriate documentation and records including budgets and other financials.

Maintains current working knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all applicable local, state, federal, and internal environmental laws and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENT
