Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced SAP BI Specialist to support data modelling and monitoring within the SAP BI system. You will ensure SAP BI objects comply with AIA standards and handle BAU incidents, changes, and deployments.

The role requires 8+ years in SAP BI, BW/4HANA expertise, and proficiency with Analysis for Office, ABAP, and FICO/Treasury modules. On-site with potential project work and training responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Systems, or Engineering or Business-related degree majoring in computing systems.
• More than 8 years of SAP BI experience.
• Experience with BW/4HANA landscape and Analysis for Office is a must.
• Experience troubleshooting complex HANA Calculation View and ABAP Routine.
• Knowledge of SAP FICO and Treasury modules will be an added advantage.
• SAP certification/training in SAP BI, BW/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for the SAP BI system with data modelling and monitoring.

• Perform BAU activities – incident, service and change requests.
• Manage SNOW tickets and deliver according to SLA.
• Develop and update Change Scope Analysis and documentation (FSD).
• Perform configuration/code changes and unit testing, coordinating with 3rd parties when needed.
• Inform on readiness for regression testing/production deployment.
• Ensure daily data loading completes and month-end data is up-to-date.

About the Role

Provide ongoing support for the SAP BI system in relation to data modelling and monitoring.

Ensure the SAP BI objects adhered to AIA standards.

Perform BAU Activities – Incident, Service and Change Request:

• Perform configuration changes/ fixes to resolve incident.
• Manage all assigned SNOW ticket pertaining to enquiries and incidents and deliver according to SLA target.
• Develop & update Change Scope Analysis (CSA) and documentation i.e. Functional Specification Documentation (FSD).
• Perform configuration / code changes & Unit Test (including coordination with 3rd party where necessary).
• Inform on readiness for Regression Test / Production deployment
• Close ticket upon successful Production deployment OR Close ticket upon receiving successful-deployment-confirmation from Integration Manager.
• Perform Post Deployment Validation.

• Comply with GASC USC-Finance operational policy (i.e. Complexity Matrix, Standard Operating Procedure) which are generally of moderate to complex scenarios for SAP BI.
• Positive collaboration with all stakeholders on BAU related matters.
• Support end users in system usage and assist in raising overall SAP proficiency of the end user base and act as a GASC USC-Finance ambassador.
• Provide training for end users.
• Participate in project activities with mainly on BI focus.
• Be aware of business process improvements opportunities and to raise it to the team.
• May require standby and shift arrangements.
• Ensure that the daily data loading activity complete successfully.
• Ensure that all data and reports are up to date during month-end closing.
• Supporting Team Manager on work assignments as per required.
