Job summary

MAHSURI FOOD SDN. BHD. seeks a Production Supervisor to monitor KPIs such as line efficiency, GMP, OEE, and yield, coordinating with maintenance, purchasing, and PMC to ensure production plans are met. You will collect data, analyze downtime, and drive improvements while ensuring HALAL, HACCP, and ISO compliance.

The role requires a minimum degree, strong analytical skills, and SAP experience, with excellent communication. Temporary assignment based in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production KPI: line efficiency, GMP, wastages, OEE, yield and OT control.
• Oversee production activities to ensure parameters, materials and manpower meet budget.
• Liaise with Maintenance on machine breakdowns and line improvements.
• Arrange manpower to ensure production processes run as scheduled.
• Ensure availability of raw and packaging materials with Purchasing and Warehouse.
• Coordinate with PMC for production planning details.
• Collect daily control statements, analyse output and downtime with action plans.
• Check stock status with Warehouse for stock adjustments/returns.
• Liaise with Purchasing on delivery schedules of materials.
• Report major breakdowns or quality/safety issues to Production/Plant Manager.
• Ensure workers adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Generate monthly production reports on time.
• Maintain HALAL, HACCP and ISO documentation.
• Staff training on Safety, GMP, SOP and WI.
• Address disciplinary issues with workers.
• Review Production Supervisor, Line Leader and Technician performance.
• Brief supervisors on production performance daily.
• Ensure production data in SAP is accurate.
• Participate in new projects or line improvements.
• Coordinate with R&D on production trials and follow-up actions.
• Monitor and purchase production spare parts and consumables.
• Handle production-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze production data and report KPIs to management.

Job description

To monitor and achieve of production KPI: Line efficiency, GMP, wastages, OEE, production productivity, production yield and OT control.

Monitor production activitiesto ensure process parameter is met, material and manpower are controlled within the budget.

To liaise with Maintenance on machine breakdown and job request for line improvement.

Responsible for manpower arrangementand requirement to ensure production processes are implemented as scheduled.

To ensure raw material and packaging material availability before production, coordinate with Purchasing Function, Warehouse and PMC Functionfor material requirement.

To liaise with PMC Functionfor the details of the production planning.

To collect the Daily Production Control Statement from Lines leaders, to compile and analyse the output and down time figure with action plan.

To check system and counter check physically with warehouse on the stock status for stock adjustment and stock return.

To liaise with Purchasing on the delivery schedule of Raw and Packaging Materials.

Report to Production Manager or Plant Manager should there be any major breakdown, quality & food safety related issue and shortcoming to fullfill planning order.

To ensure worker is adhere to the safety rules and regulations.

To generate and produce monthly production report and submit on time.

To ensure proper documentation for HALAL, HACCP and ISO system.

Staff training on Safety, GMP, SOP and WI.

Engage and act on worker disciplinary issues.

PA review for Production Supervisor Production Line Leader and Production Technician.

Daily briefing with Supervisor and line leader on production performance.

Responsible on checking and ensure production data maintained in SAP correctly.

To involve on any new project or line improvement if any.

To liaise with R&D on the arrangement and coordination of all production trial run on the whole production process. Provide recommendation / follow up action if any issue arises to ensure smooth run when actual production.

Monitor and purchase of production spare part and consumable items.

Handle any production-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

Analyze production data and report on key performance indicators to management.

Education Experience: -

Minimum Degree in any field.
