Job summary

A.P. Moller - Maersk is seeking an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor in Shah Alam to lead daily warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Practical experience using SAP in logistics, warehouse, or inventory management functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise WMS operations to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Utilise WMS and SAP for inventory management, order processing, stock reconciliation, reporting, and monitoring.
• Supervise warehouse staff, provide coaching, and promote a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Prepare operational reports and analyse KPIs such as on-time delivery and warehouse productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Warehouse Operations

• Manage and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics activities, including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and order fulfilment.
• Ensure smooth execution of receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.

Warehouse Management System (WMS) & SAP

• Maintain and optimise WMS operations to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Utilise WMS for inventory management, order processing, stock reconciliation, reporting, and transaction monitoring.
• Troubleshoot system-related issues and collaborate with IT and relevant stakeholders to improve system performance.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting within WMS and SAP.

Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Seeking approval from customer to do the adjustment with the correct size or colour.

Team Leadership

• Supervise warehouse and logistics personnel to ensure daily operational targets are achieved.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance management to team members.
• Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Analyse logistics KPIs, including inventory accuracy, order fulfilment rates, on-time delivery, and warehouse productivity.
• Utilise Microsoft Excel and reporting tools to generate insights and support management decision-making.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Support logistics planning and resource allocation to meet business requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
