Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor to manage daily warehouse activities, ensure accurate inventory, and lead a team toward continuous improvement. You will coordinate inbound/outbound processes, optimize SAP and WMS usage, and collaborate with stakeholders for on-time deliveries.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics with hands-on WMS/SAP experience, and strong leadership and data-analysis skills to drive efficiency and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a logistics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
• Experience supervising teams and driving continuous improvement.
• Proficient in WMS and SAP within logistics contexts.
• Strong analytical and Excel data-analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse and logistics activities including inbound/outbound and order fulfilment.
• Ensure receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping run smoothly.
• Lead and coach the team; drive continuous improvement and safety adherence.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports and KPIs; coordinate with suppliers and customers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts / stock audits.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics activities, including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and order fulfilment.
• Ensure smooth execution of receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.

Warehouse Management System (WMS) & SAP

• Maintain and optimize WMS operations to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Utilize WMS for inventory management, order processing, stock reconciliation, reporting, and transaction monitoring.
• Troubleshoot system-related issues and collaborate with IT and relevant stakeholders to improve system performance.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting within WMS and SAP.

Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Seeking approval from customer to do the adjustment with the correct size or colour.

Team Leadership

• Supervise warehouse and logistics personnel to ensure daily operational targets are achieved.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance management to team members.
• Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Analyze logistics KPIs, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, on-time delivery, and warehouse productivity.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and reporting tools to generate insights and support management decision-making.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Support logistics planning and resource allocation to meet business requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Practical experience using SAP in logistics, warehouse, or inventory management functions.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, reporting).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage.
