Job summary

Maersk in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to plan and supervise manpower, monitor attendance, brief daily priorities, and address staff issues. You will oversee daily warehouse activities such as receiving, replenishment, picking, packing and loading, ensuring SOPs and customer requirements are met.

The role emphasizes productivity, safety, and orderly operations, with experience in warehouse leadership and knowledge of basic WMS operations required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role preferred.
• Experience managing a team of operators, pickers, packers, or warehouse assistants.
• Have the knowledge of \"know how\" on managing operation.

Manpower Management and Operations Monitoring

• Plan and assign manpower based on workload.

Basic System Operation

• Have basic knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Monitor order releases and task assignments in the system.
• Assist in troubleshooting simple system issues and escape when necessary.
• Ensure inventory and operational transactions are updated accurately in the system.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure staff follow safety rules and company procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping and workplace organization.
• Report and follow up on any safety concerns.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 3 years in a supervisory or team leader role preferred.
• Experience managing a team of operators, pickers, packers, or warehouse assistants.
• Have the knowledge of "know how" on managing operation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in footwear, apparel, fashion 3PL, warehousing, logistics, or distribution center operations.
• Able to work in shift
