Job summary

Willis (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager (Network) to manage and develop relationships within our network portfolio, ensuring high service standards and supporting business growth.

You will act as the primary liaison between network partners, clients and insurers, drive retention and cross-sell products, and coordinate with management on market insights and new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Insurance, Business or related field required.
• ACII/AAII or equivalent insurance qualifications is a plus.
• Proven business development and client servicing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of network accounts ensuring timely renewals, endorsements and policy administration.
• Act as the primary liaison between network partners, clients and insurers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with network partners to drive retention and growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with network partners and corporate prospects.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to grow the insurance portfolio and cross-sell products.
• Provide technical advice and insurance solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
• Support Management in market research and business development initiatives.
• Coordinate and support claims handling to ensure efficient resolution and client satisfaction.
• Ensure all accounts are handled in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare reports, presentations and account reviews for Management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with network partners and corporateprospects.

Requirements

• Degree in Insurance, Business or related field.
• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in Insurance Broking or Underwriting (General Insurance).
• Proven business development and client servicing capabilities.
• Good knowledge of insurance products, market trends and regulatoryrequirements.
• Team leadership and multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• ACII / AAII or equivalent insurance qualifications is an added advantage.
