Improve workflows, review procedures, templates and use of accounting technology to strengthen quality, efficiency and consistency across engagements.
Assess prospective and existing client requirements, scope assignments and prepare proposals and fee recommendations in consultation with the Partner.
Identify additional service needs and opportunities to develop client relationships, and contribute to business development and growth of the RTMOS practice.
A degree in Accounting, ACCA or an equivalent relevant professional qualification.
Preferably at least five years of relevant experience in accounting, outsourced finance or professional practice, with experience supervising staff and reviewing work.
Strong practical knowledge of full sets of accounts, financial reporting and accounting processes, with the ability to identify issues and guide the team towards workable solutions.
Experience managing multiple client engagements and communicating directly with clients, including explaining financial information and handling expectations professionally.
An organised, accountable approach to managing priorities and deadlines, with the confidence to make day-to-day decisions and recognise matters requiring escalation.
Strong written and spoken English, sound judgement and a collaborative approach to developing people.
Experience with accounting software (ABSS/Xero etc), e-Invoicing, sole proprietor or professional practice accounts, and audit-related assignments would be an advantage.
You will have meaningful responsibility for the team, client relationships and service delivery, with direct exposure to the Partner and opportunities to contribute to the development of the practice.
