Job summary

Outsourced Quality Assured Services Inc. is seeking a capable Management Accountant to support finance operations across international entities, with a strong emphasis on Singapore accounting requirements and cross‑jurisdictional reporting.

You will own day‑to‑day bookkeeping, month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and payroll-related calculations, using Xero and Excel, while engaging with stakeholders worldwide to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in management accounting or bookkeeping.
• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting processes; exposure to UK/US/UAE is a plus.
• Hands-on with monthly close, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and variances.
• Proficient in Excel and Xero; accurate and deadline-driven.

• Prepare and maintain management accounts, financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across entities, with focus on Singapore requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking a capable and commercially minded Management Accountant to support finance operations across an international environment, including Singapore, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. This role is suited to an independent finance professional with strong technical accounting skills, sound business judgement, and a proactive approach to their work. You will be comfortable managing day-to-day accounting responsibilities, working across multiple jurisdictions, and providing accurate financial information to support business decision-making.

The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running, take ownership of their responsibilities, and work confidently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced international environment. You will work closely with key operations stakeholders, providing accurate financial information, supporting financial planning and analysis, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain management accounts, financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close activities.
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities across relevant entities and jurisdictions, with a strong focus on Singapore accounting requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, expenditure analysis, and variance analysis, providing practical financial insights to management.
• Support basic payroll-related calculations, primarily commissions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and utilise Microsoft Excel for reporting, analysis, and reconciliations.
• Work independently with international stakeholders, identify process improvements, and support additional finance requirements as the business evolves.

Essential Experience & Skills

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in management accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role, with a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of Singapore accounting processes and requirements, with exposure to other international jurisdictions such as Thailand, the UK, UAE, and/or US highly desirable.
• Hands‑on experience with management accounts, financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure analysis.
• Basic experience with payroll-related calculations, particularly commissions, with strong attention to accuracy and deadlines.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and practical experience using Xero or similar accounting systems.
• A proactive and independent approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership, work across an international environment, and hit the ground running.

Desirable Experience

• ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification, completed or currently in progress.
• Experience supporting finance operations across multiple entities or international jurisdictions.
• Experience working in a growing or fast-paced business environment..
