PhillipCapital Group is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager for Credit Operations in Malaysia. You will manage daily credit operations, review trading activities, and maintain margin loan documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance and high service quality.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage daily credit operations, including monitoring exposures across the company, branches, dealers’ representatives, and clients, as well as reviewing trading activities.
Prepare and maintain margin loan documentation, including drafting and distributing letters, statements, and notices.
Handle queries and requests from dealers, branches, and clients by ensuring clear communication, timely resolution, and appropriate guidance on operational and compliance matters in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain high service quality by adhering to approved procedures, meeting turnaround timelines, and delivering prompt, accurate, and professional support to stakeholders.
Liaise with the Operations team on margin account opening, maintenance, withdrawals, and other related processes.
Monitor and control exposures and trading risks, including margin calls, shortfalls, collateral levels, force selling, overdue contracts, clearing accounts, and contra losses, ensuring timely follow-up and compliance with regulatory timelines.
Process and verify operational transactions such as contract amendments, dealing errors, DBT, withdrawals, deposits, commissions, and margin facility utilisation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, support audits and inspections, and perform additional duties as assigned.
Drive system enhancements and process improvement initiatives, and participate in projects to improve operational efficiency while ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks.
Prepare, review, and monitor internal and regulatory reports (daily to quarterly), ensuring accuracy and timely submission to relevant stakeholders.
Undertake any assignments as instructed by the superior and/or Management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in credit operations, margin financing, or the stockbroking industry.
Good understanding of margin financing, credit risk, stock trading, and Bursa Malaysia regulatory requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
