Job summary

PhillipCapital Group in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated professional for an operations role focusing on account openings, settlement activities, and regulatory reporting. You will support back-office processes, monitor client positions, and contribute to compliance efforts in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma and has experience in settlement operations within the financial industry, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process new account openings for retail and corporate.
• Perform daily trades confirmation for BURSA & foreign product and open positions.
• Perform scanning for all account opening.
• Perform statutory and regulatory reporting to the relevant authorities.
• Monitors dormant accounts’ activities by reviewing exception reports from Back Office system and raises internal report to compliance officer immediately on any suspicious transaction.
• Monitors each client’s open position to ensure clients trade within the permitted position limit.
• Lead and/ or participate in the development and implementation of enhancements to Platforms, Processes and Products.
• Rotation to different roles and functions every six months.
• To undertake any assignments as and when instructed by the superior and/or the management.
