Job summary

LINBAQ HOLDING SDN BHD is seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager in Corporate Finance & Development to support the Head of Department with bank financing, loan drawdowns, and due diligence for strategic ventures. You will work with the finance, operations, and development teams to ensure smooth funding processes and timely reporting.

The role requires a finance or related degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in property development, with strong modelling and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in property development industry preferred.
• Strong bank relationship and capital management experience.
• Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist HOD in coordinating with financiers for loan applications, drawdowns and CP fulfilment.
• Liaise with Operation Team to facilitate timely loan drawdowns.
• Assist in annual review of banking facilities and financing arrangements.
• Assist in group cashflow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Conduct feasibility studies for land acquisitions and development projects.
• Support due diligence for JV partnerships and strategic collaborations.
• Coordinate with internal departments for timely reports and operational reporting.

Assistant Manager / Manager, Corporate Finance & Development

Assist Head of Department (HOD) in coordinating and following up with End-Financiers (EF) and Commercial Bankers for loan applications, loan drawdowns, and Condition Precedent (CP) fulfilment.

Closely liaise with the Operation Team to facilitate smooth and timely loan drawdowns.

Assist in annual review of banking facilities and financing arrangements.

Assist in Group cashflow forecast and liquidity planning.

Assist in feasibility studies of new land acquisitions, potential development projects, and strategic investment opportunities.

Closely liaise with other internal departments to ensure streamlined workflows, timely reports, and efficient operational reporting.

Assist Head of Department (HOD) in negotiating, structuring, and conducting due diligence for Joint Venture (JV) partnerships and strategic collaborations.

Job Requirements

Education: Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Experience should ideally be within property development industry.

Core Competencies: Proven experience in managing financing activities, bank relationships, and capital management.

Sound knowledge of government regulations, statutory approval processes, and industry compliance.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modelling and data analytical tools to interpret complex datasets for decision-making.

Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to assist leadership in high-level corporate functions.
