Job summary

ITWin Technology is seeking a commercially driven Assistant Manager, Business Development (IT Solutions & Project Sales) to open new markets and build relationships with decision-makers across AI, cybersecurity, cloud, data centre and other emerging technologies.

You will lead the business development cycle from discovery to proposal, negotiation and handover, coordinating with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver practical technology solutions and achieve KPIs.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B business development or related commercial roles.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Marketing or related field.
• Strong interest in enterprise IT, AI, cybersecurity, cloud, networking or digital transformation solutions.
• Proven ability to build relationships, present ideas, negotiate and follow opportunities through to completion.
• Self-driven with targets, pipeline reviews and structured reporting.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
• Possess own transport and be willing to travel for customer meetings, partner activities and projects.

• New Business & Market Growth: Build a qualified pipeline through new customer acquisition and expansion into verticals.
• Consultative Solution Selling: Position relevant IT solutions with pre-sales and technical teams.
• Strategic Relationships & Alliances: Build trusted relationships and develop partner/co-selling activities.
• Project & Commercial Coordination: Coordinate scope, pricing and delivery handover with cross-functional teams.
• Leadership & Team Contribution: Share market insights and contribute to sales process improvements.
