Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad is seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner to collaborate with business units and department heads, translating workforce needs into effective HR solutions. You will advise management on employees and organizational matters, align HR initiatives with business goals, and monitor manpower trends across functions.
Responsibilities include end-to-end recruitment, performance management, talent development and HiPo programs, as well as driving employee engagement and HR
Partner with Business Units and Heads of Departments to understand business needs, workforce challenges and people-related requirements.
Provide HR advisory and recommendations to management on employee, organizational and workforce matters.
Support the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives in alignment with business objectives.
Monitor workforce trends, organizational needs and manpower requirements across assigned business functions.
Act as a trusted HR advisor to line managers and employees on HR policies, practices and procedures.
Coordinate annual and periodic manpower planning exercises with Business Units.
Review manpower requirements, organization structures and job specifications to ensure alignment with business needs.
Manage and support end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and offer management.
Develop recruitment strategies to attract and retain suitable talent, particularly for critical and business-sensitive positions.
Monitor recruitment progress, manpower vacancies and time-to-fill indicators.
Coordinate the implementation of the Performance Management System and ensure timely completion of performance-related activities.
Support talent identification, talent review and succession planning initiatives.
Assist in developing and monitoring Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for identified talents and critical positions.
Support Hi-Potential (HiPo) and talent development programmes.
Support initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention and overall employee experience.
Partner with Business Units to address employee concerns and improve workplace effectiveness.
Support HR engagement activities, town halls and people-related initiatives.
Support the enhancement, implementation and optimization of HR systems and digital HR processes.
Prepare HR dashboards, workforce reports and analytics for management review.
Analyse HR metrics including headcount, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, manpower cost and talent movement.
Provide data-driven insights to support management decision-making.
Ensure HR practices are implemented consistently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian employment laws, regulations and statutory requirements.
Review and recommend improvements to HR policies, procedures and processes where required.
Support HR audits and ensure proper documentation and governance of HR activities.
Participate in Human Capital projects involving organizational development, workforce transformation, digitalization and process improvement.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, service delivery and employee experience.
Support organizational restructuring, new business initiatives, branch expansion and workforce transition projects.
Undertake ad-hoc HR projects and assignments as directed by the Manager / Head of Human Capital.
Qualification & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with exposure to HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, Performance Management and HR Operations.
Experience in a fast-paced, multi-business, retail, automotive or service environment will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and HR best practices.
Strong exposure to manpower planning, recruitment, performance management and talent management.
Experience in HRIS / HR digital systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Able to work independently while effectively partnering with various levels of management.
