Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy or ACCA/CIMA/Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of relevant experience in retail/FMCG finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, finance and accounting software such as SAP, Qlik Sense and any EPM.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, independent and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrates a digital mindset and willingness to leverage AI tools, data analytics and emerging technologies to improve financial analysis, reporting, automation and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with various departments to understand their financial needs and objectives.

• Evaluate current and past financial data to identify trends and analyse business performance.
• Analyse operating expenses forecast/budget vs actual and provide regular updates to management.
• Assist in preparation of monthly management report, highlighting key performance metrics.
• Assist in preparation of strategic plans, annual budget and quarterly forecasts including establishing assumptions, analysis and presentation preparation review and analysis.
• Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by senior management.
