Job summary

The Lion Group - Property Division in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Assistant Manager - Development based at HQ. You will lead project development planning, oversee implementation, and help strategize business direction.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or higher in Property Development or related field, with 6–7 years in property development. Travel locally or overseas may be required; you will work with authorities, stakeholders and consultants to drive successful projects.

Responsibilities

Vacancy : One (1) vacant position - Assistant Manager - Development Based in HQ - Lion Office Tower

What You’ll Be Doing

In-charge of project development planning and oversea project implementation including :

Strategizes Company’s business direction - identify future development trends, analyse on market demands, research on target potential customers and recommendation to the Management.

Identifies project development potential - identifies potential development project, prepares feasibility study and cash-flow for existing and new development project.

Formulates development concepts - identification of the development product, prepares and executes development programme, prepares design brief, strategies development phasing, identifies marketing exit points, and reviews of technical drawings prepared by the consultants.

Strategies relevant authorities submission process - keep updating on latest authorities' requirements, coordinates with work team to resolve technical issues, ensures project compliance in accordance with relevant authorities' requirements, and monitors consultants to ensure timely follow-up with authority after submission.

Agreement & stakeholder administration - negotiates on term and condition for land deal, monitors the project compliance in accordance to the sales and purchase agreement, maintains relationship with relevant stakeholders.

Educational Background : Bachelor’s Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Property Development / Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Experience : Ideally in the property development industry with minimum6-7 years of relevant experience.

Solid understanding of building infrastructure, agreement administration & authorities requirements.

Willingness to travel locally or overseas when required.

Its portfolio includes major townships, high-rise serviced suites, office towers, industrial parks, shopping malls, hotels, resorts, golf courses and others.

It is developing Banting Industrial CIty (BIC), a 1,253-acre freehold industrial park in Banting, Selangor. BIC's strategic location near the ports and international airport with easy access to major highways including the new West Coast Highway under construction is highly suitable for new and expansion/diversification plans.
