Job summary

HEINEKEN Malaysia is seeking a data-driven Demand Planner to support end-to-end demand planning for our sell-out business. You will translate market insights into accurate forecasts, optimise inventory, and enable product availability.

Collaborate with Regional Planning Hub and Commercial teams to incorporate promotions and market trends into plans. You will monitor weekly performance, conduct scenario planning, and support the monthly Demand Review and S&OP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial/Operations Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning or Analytics, preferably within an FMCG or fast-moving environment.
• Exposure to S&OP, Demand Review processes or working with a regional planning hub is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with planning systems such as FuturMaster or SAP is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across regional and local teams.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a structured and detail-oriented approach to planning.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Regional Planning Hub to validate and enhance baseline demand forecasts using local market intelligence.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Trade teams to incorporate commercial activities, promotions and market trends into demand plans.
• Monitor weekly sales performance, identify forecast deviations, and provide insights on risks and opportunities.
• Support the monthly Demand Review and S&OP process by preparing demand analysis and recommendations.
• Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments to improve service levels while minimising inventory and write-off risks.
• Track forecast performance through key KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias and Service Level, and perform root cause analysis to drive improvements.
• Maintain accurate planning data and product hierarchies within planning systems while supporting continuous process improvements.
• Build strong partnerships across Commercial, Supply Chain and the Regional Planning Hub to enable effective decision-making.
