Job summary

HEINEKEN Malaysia Berhad is seeking an Assistant Manager - Demand Planning to lead end-to-end demand planning for our sell-out business, collaborating with Regional Planning Hub and Commercial teams to translate market insights into accurate forecasts that enable product availability, optimise inventory and support business growth.

You will work with Sales, Marketing and Trade to incorporate promos and market trends into demand plans, monitor performance, and contribute to the monthly Demand

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning or Analytics.
• Exposure to S&OP or regional planning hub is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; SAP or FuturMaster familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Validate and enhance baseline demand forecasts with local market intelligence.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Trade to incorporate promos into plans.
• Monitor weekly sales performance and explain forecast deviations.
• Assist monthly Demand Review and S&OP with analysis and recommendations.
• Conduct scenario planning to improve service levels and reduce risk.
• Track KPIs like Forecast Accuracy and Bias; perform root-cause analysis.
• Maintain planning data and product hierarchies; support process improvements.
• Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain and Regional Planning Hub for decisions.
