Job summary

HEINEKEN Malaysia is seeking an analytical Assistant Manager - Demand Planning to transform data into actionable insights that support demand planning and business decisions. You will work closely with Demand Planning, Commercial and Supply Planning teams to deliver accurate, execution-ready demand plans that enable product availability and business growth.

You will monitor forecast performance, develop dashboards, and provide root cause analysis to optimise stock levels and minimise write-offs,

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and translate into business recommendations.
• Experience in demand planning, analytics or related role in FMCG preferred.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with forecasting/reporting tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyse demand, sales and inventory data to generate insights that improve forecast quality and planning decisions.
• Support the development of execution-ready demand plans by translating sell-out demand into sell-in plans aligned with business priorities and supply capabilities.
• Monitor forecast performance through KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Service Level and Inventory Health; provide root cause analysis and recommendations.
• Prepare dashboards, reports and data visualisations to support Demand Review, S&OP and decision-making.
• Partner with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Commercial and Finance to identify risks, evaluate scenarios and improve planning outcomes.
• Monitor inventory performance and optimise stock levels while minimising write-offs.
• Maintain data integrity, support automation and ensure planning systems deliver reliable information.
• Drive continuous improvement through analytics and automation.
