Job summary

PTT Synergy Group Berhad in Malaysia seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager for automated warehouse solutions. You will lead maintenance teams, plan and schedule work, and ensure SLA compliance to keep equipment and facilities safe and reliable.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, with 5+ years in a related role, preferably managing a team. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communications, leadership, and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a managerial role.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong communication skills.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance activities for warehouse equipment, machineries, processing lines, and facilities.
• Plan and assign maintenance work to technicians; meet SLA requirements.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team.
• Coordinate breakdown and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Plan and improve preventive and predictive maintenance aligned with client operations.
• Monitor equipment condition and identify potential problems before breakdowns.
• Ensure reliable operations and maintenance of utilities systems (electrical, water, HVAC, etc.).
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers; ensure safety and compliance.
• Ensure maintenance activities are updated in the e-Maintenance system.
• Monitor maintenance performance, downtime, and SLA achievement; take corrective actions.
• Apply TPM, Lean, and continuous improvement to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with policies, safety procedures, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance activities to keep warehouse equipment, machineries, processing lines, and facilities running safely and reliably.
• Plan and assign maintenance work to technicians and ensure jobs are completed on time and according to Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team to improve performance and competency.
• Coordinate breakdown and corrective maintenance to restore equipment and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Plan and improve preventive and predictive maintenance activities to align with client’s operations.
• Monitor equipment condition and identify potential problems before breakdowns.
• Ensure reliable operations and maintenance of utilities systems, including electrical, water, compressed air, steam, HVAC, and etc.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers, ensuring the work is completed safely, properly, and according to company and client requirements.
• Ensure any maintenance activities are properly updated in the e-Maintenance system.
• Monitor maintenance performance, equipment availability, downtime, and SLA achievement, and take action when targets are not met.
• Apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean, and continuous improvement activities to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and increase maintenance efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable legal and client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or any related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferable in managerial role in the automated warehouse solutions industry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility, interpersonal skills, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
