Job summary

PTT Synergy Group Berhad is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee daily preventive and corrective maintenance for ASRS equipment. You will lead a team of technicians, conduct root cause analyses, and ensure schedules, spare parts, and records are meticulously maintained.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years in a similar field, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar field.
• Hands-on experience in ASRS equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and customer-focused attitude.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Penang.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of daily Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain maintenance schedules for ASRS equipment and building facilities, manage spare parts inventory, and keep maintenance records up to date.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Lead the technician team to deliver maintenance services per SLA, with timely incident escalation and 24-hour written reports.
• Communicate with customers on daily operations and maintenance tasks, managing expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of daily Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities.
• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain maintenance schedules for ASRS equipment and building facilities, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure equipment maintenance records are kept up to date.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Lead the technician team in delivering all maintenance services in accordance with the customer's Service Level Agreement (SLA), including timely escalation of incidents, reporting to the monitoring centre within the stipulated timeframe, and submission of written incident reports within 24 hours.
• Communicate and engage closely with customers on daily operational matters, including equipment breakdowns and preventive and corrective maintenance activities, while effectively managing customer expectations.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar field.
• Hands-on experience in ASRS equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and customer-focused attitude.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Penang.
