Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Assistant HR Manager to support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, payroll coordination, performance management, engagement and compliance.

Organised, detail-oriented candidates with 5+ years in HR operations or generalist roles are preferred; knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act and statutory requirements is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in HR operations or generalist roles preferred.
• Experience with recruitment, payroll, and compliance essential.
• Knowledge of Malaysia employment acts and statutory requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
• Support recruitment activities, job postings, interviews and offers.
• Coordinate monthly payroll inputs and benefits administration.
• Manage employee relations and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure HR documentation, records, audits and compliance.
• Assist in HR policy review and process improvement.
