Job summary

Emerson is seeking an experienced HR professional to lead employee relations and industrial relations, guiding managers on policies and legal requirements. You will partner with leaders to ensure consistent HR policy implementation and drive engagement across the organization.

The role also involves handling grievances, investigations, audits, and coordination of training initiatives to strengthen the workplace culture and employee experience. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HRM or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Employee Relations/Industrial Relations experience.
• Sound knowledge of Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and labor legislation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and interact with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support employee relations and industrial relations matters by guiding on HR policies, employment legislation, and company practices.
• Partner with managers and supervisors to ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and engagement initiatives.
• Manage employee grievances, disciplinary matters, domestic inquiries, and performance improvement processes.
• Conduct investigations related to employee misconduct and support compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate employee communication programs, engagement activities, and feedback initiatives to strengthen workplace culture.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training coordination, HRDF claims, learning systems administration, and training dashboard updates.
• Assist in internal and external audit activities, including preparation of audit documentation and compliance support.
• Participate in HR administrative activities and company committees to support continuous improvement.
