Job summary

Connor Manufacturing Services (JB) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a senior finance manager to develop and implement local finance and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with Malaysian and US GAAP. You will manage accounting for MYR and USD accounts, coordinate with corporate offices, and oversee statutory reporting, audits, and budgeting.

The role requires a degree in finance or accounting, 8+ years in a multinational ERP environment, strong leadership, and bilingual English and Bahasa

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and implement local finance and accounting procedures compliant with local laws and GAAP.
• Interface with Corporate offices on Finance, Legal and Administration matters.
• Design system for maintaining accuracy and integrity of Payroll.
• Manage accounting for MYR and USD accounts and cash flow reporting.
• Oversee internal and statutory reporting and local audits.
• Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies and budgeting processes.
• Maintain inventories and supervise tax and credit policies.
• Provide guidance to accounting staff on standard costing in inventory valuations.

Job description

Develop, update and implement the local finance and accounting procedures to comply with all local laws and home office policies. All procedures and policies must comply with International, Malaysia and US GAAP.

Interface with Connor Manufacturing Services Corporate offices on all Finance, Legal and Administration matters.

Design system for maintaining and assuring the accuracy and integrity of Payroll.

Manage the accounting function for both Malaysian (MYR) and US dollar accounts.

Assure accurate financial reporting to local, regional and group management in accordance with corporate guidelines, Malaysian and US GAAP as applicable.

Exposure under Manufacturing environment with experience in ERP system, especially in standard

costing will be added advantage; the incumbent be able to provide guidance with insight for the accounting and manufacturing staff regarding by applying the standard costing principle in inventory valuations.

Interface with Connor Manufacturing Services corporate offices in all financial, tax and accounting matters.

Assure accuracy of cash flow information submitted to Connor Manufacturing Services corporate offices.

Manage the local audit together with Financial Global team.

Assure accuracy of all tax and statutory reporting.

Maintain accurate inventories of all company equipment, both manufacturing and IT.

Assure you all corporate credit policies are adhered to and coordinate with Corporate Credit Manager on all credit limits and collection issues.

Assure compliance with Connor Manufacturing Services and including Amphenol’s corporate finance policies and procedures.

Develop local procedures to ensure that Connor Manufacturing Services’ finance policies are implemented and adhered to.

Develop budgets and monitor compliance with the budget, including uploading into Amphenol BPC server

Provide detailed monthly analysis of financial performance, including uploading the financial data into Amphenol BPC server

Assume other responsibilities as directed by Controller and site General Manager. Such responsibilities may involve another Connor Manufacturing Services site or factory.

Job Requirements & Competencies:

Degree Graduate, major in finance or accounting.

Minimum of 8+ yearsrelevantexperience in finance /Accounting managerial positions, and from the multinational company under ERP working environment.

Strong leadership skills and results in an oriented attitude.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and planning skills.

Fully Bi‑lingual English and Bahasa Malaysia with basic knowledge of financial tools and concepts

Computer skills and ERP system knowledge
