Job summary

Hiap Teck Venture Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned accountant to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements, and to manage full general accounting duties.

You will liaise with bankers, auditors, directors, regulators, company secretaries and tax agents, implement efficient procedures, and handle monthly closings with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with ACCA or CIMA is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Manufacturing sector; accounting focus.
• Experience in costing, accounting processes, reporting, and taxation.

Responsibilities

• Manage full general accounting functions (journals, reconciliation, treasury management, closing, monthly activities).

Overall responsible for the implementation of efficient accounting procedures.

Any other responsibilities that may assigned by Management to you from time to time.

Requirement

Must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and possess ACCA or CIMA qualifications.

At least 5 years of working experience in the Manufacturing field.

Experience in costing, executing accounting processes, reporting background and knowledge on taxation.

Ability to solve urgent matters and work under pressure.

Strong analytical skill with ability to present data in an impactful & convincing manner.
