Job summary

Sri Nona Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Cost Accountant to join our finance team in Malaysia. You will lead monthly costings, cost-to-operate analyses, and transfer pricing compliance within a fast-moving confectionery environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 5 years in costing—preferably in food manufacturing or supply chain finance—and proficient SAP knowledge. Strong Excel modeling and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• At least 5 years working experience in costing or preferably in food manufacturing / supply chain finance.
• Proficient in SAP knowledge.
• Strong analytical, financial and systems skills including advanced spreadsheet and modeling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis.
• Maintain system product cost and comply to transfer pricing policy, preparation of inventory aging report.
• Manual calculations and simulation for OEM customers for OEM VE project initiated.
• Perform cost variance analysis related to the material wastage and manufacturing process.
• Assist in analyzing complex manufacturing processes in coordination with Operations Management to improve decision making.
• Assist in preparation budget for manufacturing costing related.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis of project performance, identify key variances, provide insightful reports to project managers and stakeholders, and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
• To carry out any other duties and ad-hoc requests as and when assigned by the management.

What will you be doing?

What you bring?

Strong analytical, financial and systems skills, including advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
