Job summary

Sirijaya Industries Sdn Bhd in Ipoh is seeking a meticulous Cost Accountant to manage standard costs, update BOM, and handle intercompany billing monthly. You will prepare and analyze product costing, monitor manufacturing costs, and work with production and related departments to ensure cost data and BOM accuracy.

The role requires strong Excel skills, familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle), and the ability to work independently or in a team to meet deadlines and support audits and

Responsibilities

• Update standard costs in the BOM as needed.
• Perform interco billing on monthly basis.

• Monitor and control manufacturing costs and support budgeted activities.
• Work closely with production, product code department and other functional areas to ensure cost data and BOM accuracy.
• Assist in process improvements related to cost tracking.
• Support external audits by preparing necessary costing and asset related reports.
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities with on time full closure.

• -Update standard costs in the BOM as needed
• -Perform interco billing on monthly basis
• -Prepare and analyze product costing, including material, labour and overhead components.
• -Monitor and control manufacturing costs and support budgeted activities.
• -Work closely with production, product code department and other functional areas to ensure cost data, Bill of Materials(BOM) are accurate and up to date
• -Assist in process improvements related to cost tracking
• -Support external audits by preparing necessary costing and asset related reports
• -Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure.
• -Knowledge of accounting procedures and practices, preferably in a manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of cost accounting principles and attention to detail is preferably
• -Proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting software and ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
