Job summary

Property developer in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance & Accounts Lead to manage the financial operations of our maiden premium serviced apartment project. You will oversee project accounts, HDA, bank loan drawdowns and ensure cash flow remains smooth.

You will work closely with contractors, lawyers, banks and auditors, set up appropriate accounting software, and guide the finance team through daily bookkeeping, monthly reporting and compliance with developer tax rules.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of finance experience in Malaysian property development.
• Practical experience with HDA, bridging loans, progress billings and developer tax rules
• Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional certification (MIA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Self-motivated, organized and comfortable working independently

• Payment Execution: Prepare bank transfers, process contractor progress payments, and manage vendor disbursements.
• Manage Cash Flow: Plan and track project cash flow, construction payments, and sales collections.
• HDA & Bank Loans: Oversee Housing Development Account (HDA) transactions, bridging loan drawdowns, and progress billings.
• Work with Partners: Coordinate directly with contractors, lawyers, banks, and auditors.
• Setup & Streamline: Help choose and maintain accounting software tailored for our development needs.

We are a new property developer launching a premium serviced apartment project and we are hiring a Finance & Accounts lead to manage our financial operations. You will manage project accounts, oversee the Housing Development Account (HDA), handle bank loan drawdowns and keep cash flow running smoothly.

What We Are Looking For

At least 5 years of finance experience in Malaysian property development
