Job summary

Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and uphold exceptional guest experiences. You will manage daily operations, train staff, and ensure rigorous standards of cleanliness across rooms and public areas.

The ideal candidate has a hospitality management background, at least 3 years in housekeeping with 1 year in a supervisory role, and proficiency in PMS and housekeeping software like Opera, HotSOS, and Knowcross.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant managerial role in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Proficiency in hotel systems, including PMS and housekeeping software (e.g., Opera, HotSOS, Knowcross).

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities, plan and assign work ensuring staffing levels.
• Develop your team through coaching and feedback; set performance and development goals.
• Educate and train staff in compliance with laws and safety regulations; ensure proper tools and equipment.
• May assist with deep cleaning and support during high volume periods.
• Ensure housekeeping and laundry services are consistently high quality for guests.
• Schedule inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain standards.
• Handle guest requests and special requests to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; support budget focus on profitability.
